Dear Friend,
The I care I share concept came about when Lori's son celebrated his 4th birthday. Seeing the many presents surrounding her son, she felt she needed to teach him what it means to appreciate what you have and how much more special it is to give than to receive.
After taking the time to explain to him how fortunate he is, Lori decided to ask her son to select several of his unopened presents to deliver to children in need. The impact on Noah was so meaningful that by the time his 5th birthday came around, he wanted to once again share his birthday presents.
We met 3 years ago when we both recently relocated to South Florida with our families. As our friendship grew, we decided we wanted to start an organization that teaches philanthropy to children at an early age. In the same community in which we live, there were incredible organizations serving less fortunate children and we wanted to find a way to support them.
After careful research, we partnered with several of these wonderful charities to receive the donated birthday gifts and I CARE I SHARE was born. We hope I CARE I SHARE will help parents offer their children the most precious gift of all…..the gift of giving.
